How We Got Started

Since we were born, we have been going on our annual family-friends holiday – the highlight of our year! Every trip we would invent our own games and competitions but for 2020 in particular, with nowhere to go out we decided to host a dinner party competition. Part of the competition was creating a drink to pair with each course. None of us were bartenders and quite honestly didn’t know where to start.

We turned to google and quite soon realised just how time-consuming and difficult it is to create multiple drinks at home. The competition quickly became very expensive as we needed to buy entire bottles of accompanying liquors, syrups and spirits only to use a small measure of them.

Now, looking back, we realise that what we wanted was our own personal bar, with all of the correct ingredients to enjoy creating concoctions for ourselves at home. Today, the team that makes up Bar in the Box, hope to bring you everything we wanted that evening in Crete.
